It is a well kept secret that there is a wealth of well written, highly respected software available for download over the Internet and all for free!

Bertha Guides are a series of booklets showing which of this free software is worth using, where to find it, how to install it and how to start using it.

All the programs have been tested and are safe to install (no viruses etc), they are easy to use and do the job they are meant to. Not all the software listed below have a Bertha Guide available at the moment - the Bear is typing as fast as possible!
